For several days, I reflected on his offer. It seemed almost too good to be true. Still, I believe strongly in divine intervention, and out of faith, I made the call. I had no idea that one phone call would change my life.
The LWH Veterans Advisor immediately offered to meet with me in person, driving 35 miles simply to sit down, learn more about my experiences, and understand how he could help. Once I shared my experience with military sexual trauma (MST), along with the anxiety and depression that followed, he sprang into action. I had no idea how to properly file a full VA claim for my conditions, but the LWH Veterans Advisor reassured me that he knew exactly what to do.
He guided me through gathering the necessary information and helped me prepare and submit a complete and accurate claim. Throughout the entire process, the LWH Veterans Advisor made himself available 24/7—responding promptly to calls, texts, and emails, even when he was out of town. Thanks to his dedication and expertise, my claim was successfully completed in just five months, a process that often takes a year or more.
